Scientific Name: Terminalia chebula

Location: Grows as wild trees, found in the southern part of India.

This herb provides a youthful life, enhances the intellect and is effective against leprosy, various skin disorders, fever, eye diseases, heart diseases, jaundice, tuberculosis, inflammations, diabetes and piles. It contains acids like tannic, chebulic and Gallic and a chemical named Anthra guinone which gives it a laxative quality.
